Whatever you enjoy the most on September 7, you can rest assured you’re helping to support your local hospice.
Mark Collins VP - Subsurface Imaging, EAME at CGG, a sponsor of the 2014 Dragon Boat Festival, said: “We couldn’t be more excited to jump into our dragon boat and start racing. It will be a fantastic way to spend a Sunday – working together as a team and helping our local hospice, St Catherine’s. When not racing, we’ll certainly be enjoying the new medieval theme, which will help make it a fun day out for all”
Laura Kelly, Corporate Fundraiser at St Catherine’s Hospice, said: “Our whole purpose at St Catherine’s is to provide vital support to people who are facing a terminal illness and their families.
“To do this, we have to raise £5.5million every year and events like our flagship Dragon Boat Festival make a huge difference by helping us to reach that all-important total. I’d like to thank all of our sponsors, our corporate teams, and everyone who joins us on the day; it’s going to be heaps of fun and a great way to raise money for St Catherine’s.”
