Civic service delight
We held the event at Angmering Baptist Church.
It was led by the Rev Michael Bradshaw and it was a pleasure to share such a wonderful afternoon with so many guests.
I am greatly looking forward to meeting as many people as I can during my year in office as chairman.

Hide AdThere are so many unsung heroes of this district and if I can help to shine a light on you, then I will.
This year I will be raising funds, as many of you already do, for Macmillan Cancer Support.
It is such a worthy cause and more important than ever now that new horrifying statistics show that one in three of us will be affected by cancer in some way.
Anything that I can do to support the charity that is on the front line helping those in greatest need I will do.

Hide AdThe Gazette has always been a great supporter of the chairman of the council, and I will let readers know what is happening when.
Indeed, I realise many people are doing a grand job of raising funds for Macmillan themselves and if you would like my support, or if I can help by attending your event, I will where I can.
Please contact the chairman’s assistant who organises my diary, Lynn Haymes, on 01903 737617 or email [email protected]
