A few weeks ago I heard a commotion in my garden and on looking out I saw a sparrow hawk trying to fly off, dragging a pigeon by his wing.
I made a noise to make him drop it. I looked out a few minutes later to see the pigeon huddled close to a fence. It obviously was in shock so I didn’t go too close but when I went out ten minutes later I saw that the sparrow hawk had come back and beheaded it.
