Imaginative social project

The disused police station and the discarded Central Methodist Church seem to be candidates for an imaginative social project to give homeless people a place, off the streets.
Police cells, a Victorian market hall, a church are neither hostel nor hotel room, but when you are out in the cold, a dry floor is palace to you.

Hide AdThese places can be funded and managed with good will. If they are already spoken for and sold, it is not too late to change the plans and sow charity.
Nobody in their right minds wants to be sleeping in a dark church doorway on Christmas Day.
