ST BARNABAS: Do you have some time to spare to volunteer?
Our Family Services Team seeks to support family members of patients, both during the patient’s illness and after they have passed away.
As well as individual help, we provide various forms of group support as it can be really helpful for bereaved people to meet with others who are in a similar situation.

Hide AdWe provide groups that enable people to share their experiences and support each other, as well as a monthly social support group.
We also invite people to come along to a short time of reflection led by our hospice chaplain, Stephen Gurr.
These events take place both in the afternoons and in the evenings.
We are very fortunate to have the support of a fantastic team of volunteer drivers who help people get to and from these valuable services.

At the moment, we have an urgent need for more volunteers to help us in this driving role as we are finding it difficult to meet the current need
This is particularly so on Wednesday afternoons and evenings.
If you have some time available and would like to find out more about becoming a volunteer, please contact Susan in the Voluntary Services Team on 01903 706315 or send an email to [email protected]
