"It's chocabloc in there," said trading manager Chris Jones as people continued to manoevre their way inside. "This is the ninth hospice shop we have in the area. We opened this one in Bexhill because we had the Pine Tree coffee shop close down and believed we should keep a presence because we have such a strong following in Bexhill. "We are delighted - this has all been put together by volunteers, and all the shop fittings and stock have been donated by companies in Bexhill and Little common, and a lot of things the public has given us. "We have 16 new volunteers here, who have never worked for the hospice before, and they have given their time so we are delighted with that, and the supervisors here are Julie Cham and Kath Erends. "It's incredible - fantastic - and we are really pleased."
