OLYMPIC TORCH: 2.40 Sue Barber getting ready to kick things off
Polegate’s Sue Barber is waiting patiently for her moment to shine.
The Beaver troop leader who has devoted 20 years of her life to helping youngsters in the local area, is the first carrier on the local leg and will set off from King’s Drive at 3.18pm.
She has already appeared on Daybreak this morning talking about her excitement alongside Sue O’Hara – the only other local runner taking part today.
