New plans for historic Horsham site to go on display
Shuttleworth UK has put forward proposals to turn the Prewetts Mill site, in Worthing Road, into new homes.
The company, which provides properties for both younger and older buyers, is planning to change the use of the former office building next to the old mill into residential accommodation.

A design competition was held by the developers encouraging members of the public to create their own versions of what they would like to see at the site.
Residents voted for their favourite and the winning entry has been used as a basis for the latest plans.
The mill was subject to another planning application last year.

Hide AdRetirement property developer McCarthy and Stone put forward proposals to create assisted living accommodation, demolishing the old mill and replacing it with 55 flats extended over six floors.
Campaigners described the loss of the historic building as a tragedy and the application was rejected by councillors due to the scale and design of the building.
The exhibition on the latest plans will be held on Wednesday November 23, at Horsham Library from 4.30pm until 6pm.
An application is then due to be submitted to Horsham District Council next month.
