Did you know the direct ancestors of rollercoasters, Ice Slides surfaced in Russia in the 16th Century? Or that the French pioneered the modern rollercoaster?

The UK’s first Roller Coaster was the Switchback Railway, which opened in 1891 at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, followed by The Big Dipper in 1923.
