Haywards Heath and District U3A: will hold its AGM at 2pm in Clair Hall, Perrymount Rd. Haywards Heath on Tuesday 12th April. After the formal meeting there will be a presentation called “From Battlefields to Metropolis” by Colin Manton who will talk about the Development of Haywards Heath.
Lindfield Horticultural Society: The Spring Show held on the 2nd April was a great success with lots of excellent exhibits from members and non-members alike. It was a lovely spring day too which ensured a good attendance. The King Edward Hall is fortunate in having such a splendid large hall which was awash with yellows, blues, pinks and other spring colours. The society’s next event is on Wednesday 13th April at 8pm in the King Edward Hall. Irene Eltringham-Willson will talk about “All Gardens Great and Small- The National Gardens Scheme.” Hear about the history of the Yellow Book, Irene’s role as county organiser and enjoy a trip round some of our lovely Sussex gardens which support the NGS. All welcome. £1 members, £2 visitors.

Hide AdDon’t forget: the next lunchtime concert at the United Reformed Church on Wednesday 13th April at 1.00pm. Mark Jennings will play a programme of Classical and Spanish Guitar favourites.
