Co-ordinator Mary Saunders said: "This is an exciting and first-time innovative project for people in the rural areas and towns of East Sussex and is aimed at deaf, hard of hearing (Lipreading) and deaf, hard of hearing and hearing people (Sign Language).
"The project is hoping to bring local and handy services enjoyed by the big coastal towns out to the more rural areas of the County thereby helping to reduce car travel, pollution and time. If the venture is well supported we hope to continue this and possibly other services for deaf and hard of hearing people in these areas."
