As well as being a master at the piano, he also plays bassoon, recorders, flute and uses a fine singing voice. Multi-talented indeed.
The other successful event in the village was the Book sale. £510 was raised for the village hall.

Hide AdMrs. Carol Bourne offers very grateful thanks to all the people who donated books and everyone who came to support the event. Some of the surplus will go St. Michael’s Hospice shop, some to the coffee Pop-in - which grows week by week- and some to the next jumble sale.
Several people came to the Talent Show inaugural meeting and some good progress was made. The proposed performance in November has been postponed until April, to give the organisers chance to write a pantomime-style show. It should all be great fun.
The Shoeboxes for the Link Romania Christmas Appeal need to be in church on 28th October. If you have any difficulties, please phone Mrs. Sue Cavilla on 231 431 for help.
The 9.30 am service for the 21st Sunday after Trinity will be Parish Communion led by the Vicar.
