Horsham Pub sets up new club to teach people the art of 3D printing
The Boars Head pub, on Worthing Road, in Horsham, has purchased a new 3D printer with the aim of setting up a club for people to come down and learn about machine whilst also printing off creations of their own.
The printer is not something you would usually associate with a pub but landlord Peter van der Borgh explained his choice of purchase.

“The aim is to learn how it works and teach others how to use it as well as attracting more people to the pub.
“It is the future and we can only be a part of it.”
Peter plans on running the club every Monday night from next month and said it is open for everyone to come down although his primary focus is on getting younger people involved with their parents.
“We really want young people to be involved.”
“It has mainly been advertised as a ‘lads and dads’ club but it is open to everybody.

“You can make anything you want,” he said.
“Once people learn how to use it they can make presents, perhaps for a birthday or you can make something for yourself.
“It is down to the imagination of people really.”
The club is scheduled to start on Monday October 6 and will run from 6pm at the pub.
