Horsham businessman bidding for Branson’s cash
Horsham-based Darren Richmond, who owns his own website development company and has thirty years experience in the IT industry, came up with The Soldier’s Box as a way of providing an online storage box where someone can store all their most important digital possessions, including photos, videos, documents, passwords, personal messages, and dying wishes.
He shared the idea with two life-long school friends Greg Roffe and Lee Rendell and they are hoping to secure a share of a £1m marketing fund from Virgin Media’s 2015 Pitch to Rich competition, open to entrepreneurs across the UK.
