Hidden gardens opening raises nearly £7,000
There were nine taking part in the annual Ambrose Place Hidden Back Gardens on Sunday for the National Gardens Scheme.
Organiser Marie Pringle said: “Lots of visitors mentioned the excellent piece in last week’s Worthing Herald when they came round the gardens.

Hide Ad“We had approximately 826 visitors, all of whom seemed to enjoy looking at our gardens. We took £6,974, all of which goes to the NGS charities, including Macmillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie Cancer Care, all very worthwhile causes.
“Now we can all enjoy our gardens for the rest of the summer and plan for our open day in 2018, which will be our 35th year of opening.”
