The donation was made possible thanks to the fund raising efforts of staff throughout the summer.
Staff at its head office in Bexhill has been competing in a range of sports since June with all proceeds, along with monies raised at a recent awards night, being donated to the charity.

Hide AdJay Wootten, community liaison at Hastings Direct said, “The summer of sport has been a real team effort and colleagues have competed in a range of events to raise money to help make a difference.
“We are delighted to have raised this amount which we know will make a huge difference.”
Paul Harris, CEO of Charity for Kids said: “Thank you to Hastings Direct for this superb donation, which will be used to support the applications we receive from local families in need. As a local charity made up purely of volunteers, we rely on fundraising efforts like this to support the work we do.”
Hastings Direct has made donations to a number of local charities and good causes, including donating to the Jake’s Splash Appeal and donating £100 to fifteen year old Dan Tillett from Bexhill, who has recently been selected for the England Junior Sea Angling Team.
