‘Great’ pub event raises cash for Worthing charity
A FUN-DAY held in Bar Jolly Brewers, in Clifton Road, Worthing, raised £150 for a local charity.
Last Sunday’s event was hosted by the pub’s proprietor Sophie Lush and the entertainment included a variety of acts, from soul singer Terry Carvey, to music from The Dumb Waiters and a performance from Sophie herself to name but a few.
Sophie said: “It was great, all the acts were superb.”
Barman Matt Clooney added: “It went very, very well. There were six acts on the day, there was a good vibe and it was a good thing.”
The money raised went to Worthing Kids And Dapper Snapper - a Worthing based charity ran by parents of children with special needs.
