Sandra Sedgwick, vice president of the hospice, officially cut the ribbon to launch this new venture and customers enjoyed a glass of fizz and canapes whilst browsing the large range of furniture.
This spacious outlet sells a wide variety of quality donated furniture and home furnishings, and also has a special clearance area for all types of goods.

Hide AdAlison Moorey, chief executive, said: “We rely on support from our community to enable us to provide the vital end of life care to patients in our community, so it was great to see the queue of people outside waiting for the grand opening. The new outlet has so much space; it’s great to be able to offer such a large range of furniture for sale.”
The new outlet opens seven days a week, is easily accessible and has ample, free customer parking.
The Shop Manager, Andy Mitchell, and his team are ready to welcome shop visitors.
Anyone interested in discussing volunteering opportunities are encouraged to visit the shop and chat to Andy or contact them on 01243 837766 for further information.
