Government to look into bringing Haywards Heath college site back into use
The news was announced at a full council meeting tonight (September 26).
Led by our MP Sir Nicholas Soames, West Sussex County Council, Mid Sussex District Council, the Local Enterprise Partnership (Coast to Capital LEP) and the University of Sussex, a case was put to the Government that the site should be brought back into use and a sixth form should be created.

Tonight, Garry Wall, leader of the district council, said he was 'very happy' to make the announcement.
He said the Government had 'heard the council's voice' and that the council would not have succeeded without the work from our MP.
Mr Wall spoke exclusively about the news to the Middy this week. Pick up this week's paper, which is out tomorrow (September 27), to see our double-page special report.
