The 13ft albino Burmese python was spotted hiding in an airing cupboard at the property in Ore on Friday (April 8).
Catherine Payne and Kenneth Harris, co-owners of Hastings Reptile Rescue, were called out by the man who made the surprise discovery.

“To his surprise when he opened the door a huge snake stared back him. He promptly closed the door, called us and we arrived roughly 20 minutes later.
“We had been told it was a big snake but we were certainly not expecting a beautiful 13ft albino Burmese python to be coiled up in a tiny cupboard with no heat and water.
“We transported her back to our home. After inspection she seems healthy enough bar being a bit dehydrated and under-fed.
