GENERAL ELECTION: Labour picks Brighton Kemptown candidate
A Labour city councillor will take on Brighton Kemptown's Tory MP Simon Kirby at next month's general election.
Mr Kirby, who was first elected in 2010, is defending a majority of 690 votes from Labour.
Lloyd Russell-Moyle, who has represented East Brighton since winning a by-election last August, has been selected as the prospective parliamentary candidate for the Brighton Kemptown constituency.

The other candidate already announced is Emily Tester, who is standing for the Lib Dems.
