The day was organised by dog rehabilitation centre House of Hugo in Shoreham to raise money for Shih tzu Rescue Angels.
The event, at the facility in Dolphin Road, Shoreham, included a number of activities for pets and owners to take part, including a dog and animal buffet, events in the doggy swimming pool and a dog show with judges.

Jasmine Hudson, supervisor at House of Hugo, said: “We had around 100 dogs that came in and we did classes and best in show, and it was a brilliant day. I was one of the judges and it was great fun.”
Owner Leon Towers, 41, set up the business four-and-a-half years ago after finding a love of dogs and helping them with rehabilitation following operations and incidents.
He said: “I think the day went really well. It was good fun doing the shows and at the end helping them to swim in the pool.
