Free parking in Adur
Adur District Council has announced free parking in its staff car parks on Saturday, December 13, and Saturday, December 20, for all members of the public visiting the town centres.
The move is intended to support businesses and shoppers.
Council leader Neil Parkin said: "Hopefully, this will help out a little."

However, Beryl Ferrers-Guy, of the Southwick Square Traders Association described the move as a case of "bah humbug yet again".
Mrs Ferrers-Guy contacted the Herald in November, after the council refused her request for a parking amnesty for the three towns during their annual Christmas events.
She said the move by the council was a "token for Southwick".
Sympathetic

"It's going to make absolutely no difference at all.
"I think it's very mean-minded of them.
"I was under the impression that Adur council was sympathetic to the town centres and would do everything they can to encourage trade.
"This is not a very good example."
Enforcement
Mrs Ferrers-Guy also said the Ham Road car park in Shoreham was too far out to make a real difference to shoppers.
From January 26, civil parking officers will start to work in Adur.
