Former Chelsea ace joins in charity football match
The Kits4Kicks event, organised by David Brooks and Bob Stewart, saw Oldan Athletic FC (England) take on Vecchie Glorie FC (Milan), including the last-minute addition of Cudicini.
But despite boasting the former Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and LA Galaxy ace, Vecchie Glorie were no match for the plucky locals, who secured a 4-3 victory over the Italians.

A trophy, engraved with ‘Battle of Hastings’, was presented to the winners. Oldan Athletic have been invited to Milan to defend the trophy next year.
Donations are still coming in from the game, but the organisers have so far raised almost £2,000 to buy football kits for the Pestalozzi International Village and Sedlescombe Primary School pupils.
Match sponsors included Superstitch, Primesigns, Cafe Nero and Smithy’s Chippy.
