Ex-speedway rider jailed for seven years
Clement, 22, was returning home from a Weymouth Wildcats speedway fixture when his van collided with another vehicle.
Chichester Crown Court heard how he had fallen asleep at the wheel but continued on his journey before stopping at a service station to buy food and drink.

Hide AdHe was then involved in a fatal collision on the A24 Warren Road at Worthing where he veered onto the wrong side of the road and collided with two vehicles.
The 20-year-old driver of one of the vehicles, Lee Davis, died at the scene and a passenger in the same vehicle was seriously injured.
Clement was taken to hospital but was later released and arrested. The court heard that he had 138mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood; the legal limit is 80.
The court heard he had no previous convictions and a clean driving licence.
Judge Anthony Thorpe said: 'This was not only a prolonged, persistent but deliberate course of very bad driving over a long period of time. Your driving was very aggresive and appalling.'
