Emergency works to repair burst water main in Three Bridges

The burst six inch main, at the junction with Haslett Avenue East and Hazlewick Avenue, is expected to cause delays for drivers in the area.
A spokesperson for Southern Rail said: “At present no properties are without water and our crew is already on site working to fix the problem.

Hide Ad“The replacement pipe will be fitted as soon as we have secured alternative water supplies for a nearby nursery.
“While we replace the pipe around seven properties will experience a temporary loss of water supply and we will continue to liaise with local residents while this work is ongoing.
“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience and thank people for their patience while we carry out this vital repair work.”
A spokesperson for Metrobus said: “Delays are expected in the area especially at peak times. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
