The rescue dog - a one-year-old Chihuahua cross called Dixie - went missing from Beatty Road in the late afternoon of April 13. She had just arrived by car to the home of Margo Smith, her new owner. Margo said Dixie panicked while leaving the car and slipped her collar.
According to Margo, Dixie ran off and was seen later that day running along Prince William Parade. She was clipped by a car but continued running. Last night she was seen in Benbow Avenue.

According to Margo, the police and all local vets have been made aware. Groups of people are circulating flyers in the area too.
Anyone who sees Dixie can call Margo on 07815559021.
