Earnley open gardens raise money for St Wilfrid’s Hospice
John and Jill Williams are inviting the whole community to join them at Cookscroft Garden to raise money for a great cause.
The garden is run under the National Garden Scheme, which donates money to nursing, caring and gardening charities.

Hide AdThe team at Cookscroft Garden have decided to donate all the money they make from teas to St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
The five acre garden for all seasons will delight visitors.
Started in 1988, it features a cottage, woodland and Japanese gardens, water features and borders of perennials, with a particular emphasis on Southern Hemisphere plants.
There are a variety of unusual species for the plantsman to enjoy, many grown from seed.

Hide AdOn Saturday, June 27 the garden will open from 5pm-9pm with refreshments including wine and soft drinks.
All funds from the event will go to St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
The garden can be found at Cookscroft in Brookers Lane, Earnley.
