Davison students train for High School Musical with stars from Worthing Thunder
Team members Rory Spencer and Terrell Bell led a workshop in basketball skills with the cast and crew of Davison’s forthcoming production of High School Musical. After an energetic workout, the players took part in a question-and-answer session regarding life in high school ‘across the pond’ in the USA. Vicki Stitt, leader of the Thundergirls and choreographer of the play, said: “This was a fantastic opportunity for the Davison students to practise their accents, work on their teamwork and generally have tons of fun.
“Davison has decided to produce this modern-day classic as not only is it hugely popular with the students, it also has the underlying theme of being yourself and sticking together, which is such a positive message in our celebrity-obsessed world.”
