Warning as thieves target sheds in Horsham district
Sussex Police say that a door to a shed at a house In Comptons Lane, Horsham, was forced open last week and a spade stolen.
An attempt was then made to prise open a rear window of the property.

Hide AdThe padlock to a shed at Chesworth Allotments, in Arun Way, Horsham, was forced and entry gained, although nothing was stolen.
Homes burgled
Police say that a house in Maudlyn Close, Bramber, was broken into last month via ‘an insecure door’ and a mobile phone, camera and Playstation stolen.
Thieves broke into a house in Haven Road, Rudgwick, recently, during the day via a kitchen door. After an untidy search jewellery was stolen.
Attempts were made to break into two homes at the end of February.

Hide AdIn Cook Road, Horsham, two windows frames were found damaged but no access was gained.
And at a house in Birch Way, Storrington, tool marks were found around the lock on a door. Again no access was gained.
In London Road, Coldwatham, the door to the rear of a property forced open and jewellery stolen.
Access was gained through a possible insecure window at a house in Amberglade, Southwater a couple of weeks ago.
A safe and jewellery were stolen.
