‘Particularly nasty knife’ taken off Brighton streets after 15-year-old arrested

Prevention Enforcement Officers in Brighton arrested a 15-year-old boy following a stop and search, according to a police tweet.
He was arrested on suspicion of offences which included drug offences, police said.

“Prevention Enforcement officers arrested a 15 year old boy after a stop and search for this and drug offences in the early hours of this morning.”
According to figures recently released by the Office of National Statistics, there were 377 incidents of gun and knife possession offences in Brighton and Hove during the 12 months to September 2018
