Driver '˜failed to stop' following collision with 65-year-old woman in Chichester

The 65-year-old woman was walking her dog along Clay Lane at about 8.20pm on Monday (July 18) when an unknown vehicle clipped her arm, causing it to break, Sussex Police has confirmed.
According to police, the vehicle, described only as a silver car, failed to stop.

Hide AdPC Ben Henwood said: “We’d like to speak to the driver of the car, whom we believe was playing loud music and may not have realised he or she hit the woman.
“We’d also like anyone who may have seen the collision – or a silver vehicle playing loud music driven in the area at the time – to come forward.”
