Bognor Regis man pleads guilty to causing death by dangerous driving after A27 crash

Ruan Soares, of Bursledon Close, Bognor Regis, also admitted a charge of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, after the crash on September 28, 2019, the CPS said.
The 27-year-old appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court last Friday (February 12).

Hide AdAfter Soares pleaded guilty to both charges, the case was adjourned to a pre-sentencing report hearing at the crown court on March 26.
Sussex Police said Soares was driving a white Seat Leon which collided with a tree on the A27 eastbound, between Fontwell and Tangmere, around 11.30pm.
Following the crash in 2019, a police spokesperson said: "The driver and a passenger suffered serious injuries and were taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
"A second passenger of the vehicle suffered critical injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene."
