Council's Labour leader calls for party media chief to be sacked

In the wake of last night’s election results, Mr Lamb said the time has come for party leader Jeremy Corbyn to find someone with real campaign experience to come up with a strategy to take Labour forward.
“The issue at the end of the day is that his job is finding a way for the leader to communicate with the public,” he told the Obby.

Hide Ad“Ultimately, the Labour message is all over the place, nationally, and that’s got to change.”
He added that Ken Livingstone, the figure at the centre of the recent anti-Semitism row, is ‘a fairly clear example of where we’ve got problems’.
“They’re people he’s known for a long time - they’re not necessarily people who’ve got the skillset that’s needed.
“Jeremy Corbyn didn’t expect to win the leadership election,” he added, “a lot of it’s been quite abruptly put together.”
