Council HQ move on course
The move to a single site relies on the sale of land, gradual reduction in the use of Pine Grove, Crowborough, finding alternative use for the space released and the introduction of flexible working for staff, members of the council's Cabinet were told in a report.
An independent consultant was appointed to advise on land sales and help develop flexible working schemes.

In the meantime most district officers and staff will leave Pine Grove, although 20 workstations will remain along with reception staff.
As the space gradually becomes vacant, a number of potential tenants could include the library services, police, Crowborough Town Council and a CAB office.
