“It was really hard because it was so windy that day. At some points it was hard to breathe. I’ve not been at this school very long but it completely blew me away, the way the boys were doing it.”
The event raised money for Macmillan Cancer Support and was organised by teacher Sharon Watters.
“It was amazing,” said Cathy. “I did it with the boys along with members of staff – they were amazing. Every one of them finished.”

“The teacher asked what they would like to do to give something back and they talked about doing a sponsored walk. It looks like they’ve raised over £1,000.”
