Call to shape Rustington’s future is made
On Monday (April 21), Rustington will begin its six-week consultation on its draft neighbourhood plan.
The document will outline the proposals to help develop the village in the coming years.

Hide AdOnce agreed and approved, this plan will then go to a yes/no referendum which will ultimately decide whether the scheme is approved or not.
The draft plan will be available to view on the Rustington Parish Council’s website, at www.rustingtonpc.org and hard copies can be obtained from the Village Information Centre, at Churchill car park, Rustington Museum, in The Street and the parish council offices in Woodlands Avenue.
Reference copies are also available at the village library in Claigmar Road.
The consultation period will end on June 1.
Comments about the proposals should be submitted before this date.

Hide AdComments can be delivered to the parish council offices, the Rustington Museum and Village Information Centre.
Alternatively, remarks can be made by email to [email protected], or by post to the council offices at 34 Woodlands Avenue, Rustington, BN16 3HB.
If amended, the plan will be submitted to the Arun District Council to review and pass on to an independent examiner for examination and approval.
If approved, a subsequent referendum is expected to take place at some point in December, 2014, or January, 2015.
