After the success of the first market in September, the event on Saturday, October 10, featured 19 stalls offering a range of items, including homemade preserves, chocolate, cheese, fruit and candles.
Organiser Richard Ruthven, owner of Charlene’s Chocolate Factory, said: “In general, the village hasn’t got anywhere to get local produce.

Going forward, the market will be held on the second Saturday of each month, from 10am to 3pm.
Stallholder Beth Emery, from Wordchatter, said: “I was surprised at the amount of people, I have had a few of my regulars come. I will be coming back next month.”
With each purchase made, a raffle ticket was given out for the chance to win a £20 voucher to spend at the Christmas market.
