Brighton police officer charged with child porn offences

A Sussex Police officer has been charged with three offences following an investigation, including two related to indecent images of children, the force said.
In a statement released this afternoon (November 8), Deputy Chief Constable Bernie O’Reilly said: “PC Martin Harris, 37, a police officer based at Brighton, has been charged with misconduct in a public office, possession of indecent images of children and making an indecent image of a child.
“He has been released on bail to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on November 30. He is currently suspended from duty.”
