Brexit campaigners visit town centre

The group are easily identifiable with their large sign and will be in South Street Square by the HSBC branch from 10am to 1 pm.
Campaigners are handing out information to passers by including leaflets, booklets, badges, car stickers and posters.

Hide AdWhen asked about why they were campaigning, Leave supporter Mike Jelliss said that the main issues for him were ‘sovereignty and democracy’, adding that ‘we have lost them both and want them back’.
Mark Withers echoed his fellow campaigner by saying that the debate centred on Britain’s ability to control its own future.
He said: ‘Do you want to be ruled by an external authority or do you want to rule yourself?’
According to the group, they will be returning to Worthing on Saturday and Wednesday.
