Boy’s plea for stolen trumpet
The trumpet, along with a cricket gear set and coat, were stolen from his dad’s car while it was parked in Partridge Green over the weekend.
It was in its case with a Humes and Berg straight mute, a Denis Wick plunger mute, and a stand. The case had a green “Access All Areas” sticker from a Jools Holland gig.

Hide AdArchie, a Grade Four trumpet player, said this particular instrument had sentimental value as it was bought thanks to an inheritance from his late great-grandmother.
Now a Year 7 pupil at Tanbridge House School, Archie has been playing the trumpet since he was in Year 3 at Greenway School.
He last used it on Saturday March 16 in a concert at K2 leisure centre in Crawley.
Talking to the County Times on Monday, Archie said he had another performance - the Tanbridge House School concert at Horsham’s Capitol theatre - coming up the next day, but he would be able to use an older instrument.
Police are asking anyone with information, or who is offered the trumpet for sale, to contact them on 101 quoting reference 0499 of March 17.
