The huge tree was recently planted alongside the A259 roundabout next to the White Swan pub by the Friends of Old Bridge Meadow, and will light up for the carols on Friday, December 16, from 6pm.
Last weekend the tree and surrounding area was lightly decorated for the first time and the group were delighted that Louise Goldsmith, West Sussex County Council leader, paid a visit and helped install some of the decorations.
