Bognor students have their say with new school council
A total of 38 students from the two areas met on Monday, October 12, to form the Felpham and Bognor School Council
The focus was to revisit the Children's Charter put together at last year's school council day. The charter is displayed in all the local schools.

nBognor to be a cleaner and greener town with opportunities for recycling
nFor Bognor to be a friendly place to live with a range of fun and adventurous activities
nTo have safe roads with plenty of cycle lanes
nA place where artwork, drama and music are celebrated
Each group had a short input from invited guests.
The children enjoyed listening and sharing ideas with Dan Cox, street scene officer for Arun District Council, Leah Harrapp, West Sussex travel plan adviser, Lisa Richards and Tracey Betes from Art of Dance and Mark Betts, business and community manager at Bognor Regis Community College.

All the ideas were recorded on card, and then each group presented them on a projector.
To support this some groups performed a short drama piece while others produced posters and leaflets.
At the end of the day, one student said: "I have enjoyed listening to everyone's valid opinions of what they want in Bognor."
