Boat rescued two times in three days

The volunteer crew were paged at 11.29am on November 11 after the 45ft yacht Maria-Angela suffered engine failure 11 miles south east of Selsey Bill.
A crew of seven came to the boat’s aid at 12.19am, including 2nd coxwain Willy Pledger to assist with towing and communications as the three Spanish and one Dutch national spoke very little English.

Hide AdThe team towed Maria-Angela to Chichester Harbour by 3.15pm, following a similar call in the early hours of the morning on Wednesday, November 9.
