Billingshurst Gang Show hits the stage
A gang show is a performance of sketches, dances and musical items, based on an original idea from Ralph Reader.
Glyn Pullen, Group Scout Leader at 1st Billingshurst, said: “There will be sketches from Disney for the junior gang, Jungle Book to celebrate 100 years of Cub Scouts and High School Musical for the senior gang.

The main part of the gang is importantly made up of children and a role is found for anyone who wants to be involved, regardless of their singing and dancing abilitites.
The Billingshurst leaders also join in and can always be relied on to be silly with a comedy song or sketch.
Mr Pullen added: “Gang Show is fun – that is why the adults are still involved after all these years and why children return to the cast year after year. It is part of the Scout and Guide Balance Programme, offering children a chance to be creative and develop themselves.
