Bexhill Lions Club's Wheel and Walk raises £500 for one of town's leading charities
Members of Bexhill Lions club presented a cheque for £500 to Bexhill Caring Community.
The cash was raised at the Lions’ inaugural Wheel and Walk event held in mid-September.

Hide AdLion President Clare Kersley says the club thanks everyone who took part, family and friends for making such a great effort and making the Wheel and Walk such a success.
“We also thank our sponsors and supporters who made this event possible and allowed us to make this donation to Bexhill Caring Community,” she said.
“We are delighted to be able to help them, as they provide such great and much needed services to the residents of Bexhill.”
Jackie Haggerty, Bexhill Caring Community manager accepted the cheque and said: “Thank you all so very much for the wonderful cheque from Bexhill Lions for £500.

Lion Andrea Etheridge, Head of FUNdraising added: “We are delighted to announce that Wheel and Walk will take place again next year. We took on board comments from the participants and with the support of Rother District Council and the De La Warr Pavilion we have been able to bring the date forward to Sunday, June 9. So put the date in your diary now for this fun, family event.”
