Baby left at Gatwick makes appeal 30 years on
Steven Gary Hydes was dubbed Gatwick Gary after he was found in the ladies toilets at the airport when he was ten-days-old.
Now an engaged dad-of-two, he returned to the airport yesterday (April 10) and said: “I would love for my children to know my birth family and I would love to know if I have any brothers or sisters.

“I think the best chance I have of finding my birth family is through DNA.
“I have done several tests and recently I have had some closer matches come through but sadly I have not been able to make contact with them yet.”
Steven lives in West Sussex with his fiancee Sammy Collins, daughter Allanna, eight, and son Kian, four.

“I would also like to encourage more people to get DNA tested. The more people that get tested, the more chance there is of me and other foundlings finding their birth family and their roots.”
