Arundel Festival is one of the ‘best ones ever’
People flocked to the town in their tens of thousands to revel in the ten-day long celebration.
This year saw everything – fireworks, helicopter rides, live music and countless theatre performances and events for all the family to enjoy.

Hide AdToday (Wednesday, August 28) Ash Kent, co-chairman of Arundel Festival, said: “It absolutely was one of the best festivals.
“Last year we saw the headlines saying the same thing and I know myself and Andy Heggadon the other co-chairman, were wondering how we could top it.
“But somehow we have. So we’re absolutely thrilled.”
For Ash and Andy, the festival was a culmination of nine months’ hard work, with countless late evening and early mornings.
“We’re all volunteers, myself and Andy both have our own lives to live,” admitted Ash. “So we have to squeeze in the work where we can.

Hide Ad“It’s exhausting, to be honest. But when you have people stopping you in the street, telling you what a good job you’ve done, it makes it all worthwhile.”
