Airport bus service is to expand next week
From November 21, the two northbound services will be complemented by two southbound services, leaving the airport at 00.22 and 2.22am.
The Early Bird 380 service, which is a business collaboration between Gatwick Airport Metrobus and Southern Railway, was launched earlier in 2015 to help workers from Hastings and Rother get to Gatwick Airport for early shifts. However, the service has also become popular with air passengers with early check-ins, when no rail services are running.

The service will operate in a loop, arriving from Gatwick via Heathfield and Battle, returning via Hastings, St Leonards, Bexhill and the A259/A22 corridor.
Martin Woodfine of Hastings Access, Transport Regeneration, Inter-modal Connectivity said: “This is another very welcome service expansion which we have been actively seeking.
“We applaud the operators for taking this forward-thinking initiative.”
