A minute’s silence at 1.22pm – exactly three months after Shoreham tragedy
Families, friends and first responders have gathered at Lancing College’s chapel for a memorial service in memory of the 11 men who lost their lives on August 22.
Bishop of Chichester Martin Warner spoke of the importance of taking a minute’s silence.

“It’s a very powerful medium. It can so often express what words fail to convey.
“It’s important of course that we link our emotions to time. The fact that it will happen at exactly the time that the tragedy struck is another way of connecting with this terrible event that’s altered lives irrevocably.”
